During "Community Share" Sunday at Rakhma Love and Harmony Holistic Center, Inc., as "lightworkers", we are given opportunities to put into action one of our core affirmations... that fraternal service is THE way of life. Many blessings and gratitude to all who come together in Love and give so generously!
On Sunday, Starlight Angels Ministries, Inc. and Rakhma Love and Harmony Holistic Center, Inc. joined together to create Christmas hygiene/snack bags and Christmas treat bags. Rev. Emma, Charlene and Sharon took charge of the treat bags (of which there were a LOT of treats!!!), while Jerri and Debbie packed the hygiene/snack bags. Rev. Eva took charge of quality control and bringing all the elements together in one beautiful gift bag <3 <3 <3. It was a really great time of working together to spread Love and Light... !! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!!!
Feeling extremely blessed! Today the "to go" hygiene & snack bags were delivered & distributed to the homeless & needy as a supplement to a meal being provided by Bread of Refuge. I was told that the people love getting these bags... & they appreciate that we make them look so nice. As I was leaving, I could hear someone yelling "thank you". I rolled the car window down & saw a woman waving, so I stopped the car, got out & gave her a big hug. I love giving hugs! I told her how beautiful & sweet she was... I'm thinking up something special for Christmas 💝
The bags included wipes, bandaid kit, comb, socks, gloves, tuna & cracker kit, cheese & stick crackers, applesauce, PB crackers, PB tub, pretzels, pudding cup, rice crispy treats, apple sauce, almond breakfast bar.
Blessings, thanks & appreciation for the love & generosity of all who shared in many ways* to help spread Love & Light!! 😇💕 ...

Starlight Angels is still finding where and how we can best serve our immediate community in the Seffner/Mango/Brandon/Valrico area (see the map below). For our first share we covered Brandon on our own and gained a real perspective of the area.
We also felt it would be good to supplement some of the existing ministries/missions in the area, i.e. "Bread of Refuge", a cafe and food pantry in Brandon. They also sponsor a weekly outdoor food share in Mango, which we have been blessed to be a part of a few times this past year.
So, this past Sunday, it was with great joy that we met up with Bread of Refuge in Mango and delivered 24 bags of goodies that were packaged with lots of love and care during the "community share Sunday" at the Rakhma Love and Harmony Holistic Center, Inc.
Sorry that we don't have any pictures to share this time. Sometimes we just get busy "doing" and don't think about taking them! But we do want to give a BIG "Thank You" to Rev. Eva, Rev. Emma, and Angela! Also, blessings to Scott and Sharon @ Bread of Refuge for all of the love they give to those in need! Blessed be.... to ALL
I found this online today... No one really knows what "homelessness" looks like. Yes, many times we see someone holding a sign asking for help, but a person can have a job and still be homeless. There are a million ways a person (or a family) can become homeless. God bless the children who are homeless... We've served some and their families on the streets. There were times that we were blessed to be able to share Christmas stockings, presents, and Easter baskets with these precious young ones. We must remember to be kind, generous, and compassionate to all who cross our path. We never know the full story... Blessed be...
Thank you to Rakhma Love & Harmony Holistic Center, Inc.... w/ Rev. Eva, Rev. Emma, Sally, Debbie for sharing the Love and Light with our immediate community! The packs include SOCKS!!!, wash cloth, soap, razor, toilet paper, raisins, PB & crackers, apple sauce and/or apple juice, granola snack bar, pudding cup, comb, band aids, alcohol pads, and wipes... and ice cold water!!
Debbie, Rev. Eva, and myself (Jerri) began our journey down Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. Traffic was heavy and it was hot and humid, but we met some amazing spirits this past Sunday! Michael still wore an old hospital bracelet on his wrist and told us how he was trying his best to make changes in his life. We told him that no matter what, he was loved... and that he IS Love. Two other men had found some shade on the side of a store was was closed and was very thankful for the cold water. One had his guitar case at his side and said he was trying to perfect his skills. We also met another "Michael", who said he was trained as an executive food chef. He has been in pain for quite some time because of his back and was hoping to be approved for back surgery. Bobby was giddy just to see that someone cared. He was counting down the time to make his way for a meal at Bread of Refuge, several blocks away.
I realize that you have not heard from Starlight Angels for quite some time. As with all things in life, nothing stays the same. Life is constantly changing. Directions change and we must "bloom where we're planted"! I mean that quite literally... lol. The core of Starlight Angels Ministries, Inc. has changed over the recent years. Some of us have transitioned to homes in new areas outside of Tampa. Some have transitioned in spirit to the "other side". But the call to serve has never left... it just changed directions.
After moving to Seffner, FL 2 summers ago, it became clear that continuing to serve in the Tampa area was unworkable, so for the past year I began to find areas where Starlight Angels could serve in the local Seffner & Brandon communities. Since the beginning of 2019, Ramona and Nellene decided to begin their own mission called "Ramon's Angels", still based out of Tampa. God bless the work they continue to do.
At this time, I am very excited to be able to partner with "Rakhma Love and Harmony Holistic Center, Inc." ( www.rakhmaloveandharmony.org ) !! .... and look forward to continuing the Starlight Angels Ministries, Inc. mission and vision!
Just an FYI... that, for the moment, all of our previous postings are not available. We are working to try to resolve this issue. Until then, Starlight Angels Ministries, Inc. looks forward to posting updates on our new journey in the Seffner/Mango/Brandon/Valrico areas! Much love ... and many blessings! S.A.
